I joined Croda in May 2011, as the Account Manager for Home Care, Geo Technologies and Coatings & Polymers. My main objective was to develop new customer x product combinations at existing customers and also prospect new ones, which was very exciting since I had the opportunity to work at markets that I was already familiar with (Home Care and Coatings) and also learn more about the challenges of the Geo Technologies market. During this period I had the opportunity to participate in technical training at Gouda, Holland and Atlas Point, USA.
Area Sales Manager
Croda offered me the opportunity to start developing my abilities to manage a team by promoting me to Area Sales Manager with one Account Manager reporting directly to me. As time went by, my responsibilities increased, with one more Account Manager reporting to me, so gradually I was leaving the field activities to a more supporting and managing position. During this period I had the opportunity to participate in internal courses that helped me on this journey.
I started 2015 as the Sales Manager for PTIC in Brazil, adding responsibilities for the Lubricants and Polymer Additives market segments. My main role was to drive the sales team to achieve their goals. At this time I also had the chance to stablish very good Croda contacts around the world.
Sales Development Manager
I accepted the challenge to be the new Sales Development Manager for the Coatings & Polymers business in LATAM. This was a very exciting movement with new challenges, as the main one to lead a sales team across the Latin America region. I am still in the beginning of this new journey, but I already know that as always, there is a lot to learn and improve!
